Manufacturing Facilities

We have world class manufacturing facilities that can fulfill all the requirements of the clients with precision. Our Infrastructure includes special purpose and general purpose CNC turning centers, CNC vertical turning centers to handle simple and complex machining job to exact requirement. Over the years, we have acquired skills to built our own special purpose machinery such as cnc vertical turning, cnc drilling machine, CNC Horizontal turning, CNC turning machine for specific needs.

We have world class manufacturing units located in the fully developed industrial estate of Sohna, IMT Gurugram, close to the NCR of Delhi and Chennai.

The combined area of all the units are 100,000 square feet. All the manufacturing units are equipped with latest technology based advance machines like CNC machining centres, CAD/CAM facilities, idea-unigraphics software, 3-D modeling etc.

In addition, Roop Automotives also fulfills its customer’s requirements pertaining to packing and labeling of products. There is a team of dedicated logistic experts, who can provide client’s exacting requirements like bar coding, special packing, traceability, shipment tracking etc.

Machining Capabilities

Roop’s principal capability is Machining and assembly of Steering Sub Assemblies – Universal joints, eye shafts etc. We machine a great variety of materials, a list comprised of aluminum alloys, stainless alloys, copper alloys, 11 steel varieties Roop is equipped with machining facilities like:

CNC Turning Centers
CNC Vertical machining Centers
CNC Gear Hobbing
Gun Drilling

Spline rolling
General purpose machine like Milling, Broaching, drillings
SPMS like Honing, Precision Boring, Milling etc.

Roop is also equipped with MIG welding Facilities Tube Swaging.

Roop has support capabilities including FeatureCAM CAD and CAM design, sawing, vibratory finishing abrasive blasting, brazing and Arc welding.

Apart from Machining and assembly features we have capabilities to manufacture in house machines.

Steels we have machined:

1010, 1018, 1020, In general, 1018 cold drawn steel is the most commonly machined bar stock and has very good welding properties. There are some leaded steels such as 12L14 and 41L42 which though much easier to machine can have poor weld characteristics. Avoid them on welded assemblies. 4140 is a hardenable and tougher grade. 41L42 is its free machining version.
